The regular dealing and solving of cases by citizens’ complaints related to irregularities that occur on public lands or surfaces that are owned by the City
Problems solving by official duties related to the illegal occupation of public land (summer gardens, refrigerators, building materials, stalls in front of shops, etc.).
Control of out of market area sales
Control of the illegal disposal of waste on public land and registering illegal dumps along with submitting them to the competent services to remove them.
Control of illegal keeping of domestic animals
Control the working hours of catering-hotelier and restaurant facilities and others.
Supervision over the work of public utilities. (Maintenance of communal facilities, potholes, street cleaning, out of order street lighting, clogged drains, cleaning of streets from snow and ice, etc.).
MUNICIPAL UTILITY AFFAIRS:
Issuance of permits for occupation of public areas at the request of the parties
Registration of utility problems at local offices and proposing measures to address them, as well as participation in drafting of programs of utility development and monitoring of program implementation through competent institutions (JP “Directorate for construction of Nis,” JP “City Planning Institute – Nis”, Administration for Planning and Construction, Directorate for public utilities and others.) Registration of residents -tenants Assembly or Council of tenants.
