A ceremonial farewell to Serbian peacekeepers was organized at the Knjaz Mihailo barracks in Nis on December 23, joining the UN multinational operation in Lebanon (UNIFIL). 161 members of the Serbian Armed Forces (infantry companies of the Third Brigade of the Army) will be escorted out to be engaged in peacekeeping in the country, attended by Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff General Milan Mojsilovic.

You must do nothing less. It is up to you to preserve that honorable and beautiful name, to preserve the respect and love left by those before you. Be brave, hardworking, disciplined, but above all, take care of each and every one of you.

Come back to us healthy, upright, proud and richer for an experience, “the Minister of Defense said. He handed the flags of Serbia to the commander of the infantry company, Milan Kuburić, and the commander of the Defense Forces platoon.
